3 pounds beef sirloin, trimmed and cut into 1 in pieces
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minved
2 cups beef stock
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • Lay trimmed meat in a single layer, Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder and toss to coat
  • Sprinkle with flour and toss to coat, In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium high heat
  • Add in beef, working in batches if needed, and brown meat, cooking on each side for 2-3 minutes, until meat is nicely browned
