Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

1 bone-in turkey breast (6 to 7 pounds), completely thawed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic (or ½ tsp. garlic powder)
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chicken broth or stock (or water)

  • Remove the turkey skin if desired. Brush turkey with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl combine the garlic, seasoned salt, paprika, Italian seasoning, and pepper; rub over turkey.
  • Transfer to a 6-qt. slow cooker; add chicken broth (or water). Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until the turkey's internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F and is very tender.
